The Grumman F-14 Tomcat

* One of the mainstays of US Navy fleet defense in the late 20th century was the Grumman "F-14 Tomcat", a twin-engine interceptor armed with long-range Phoenix air-to-air missiles. It was also pressed into the reconnaissance and, as the "Bombcat", strike roles. This document provides a history and description of the F-14.
