Evolution, Entropy, & Information

v2.0.0 / TOC (4 chapters) / 01 sep 15 / greg goebel

* From the publication of Charles Darwin's THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES in 1859, which established the basis of modern evolutionary theory, creationists have worked to oppose and undermine the science. One of the creationist tactics has been to invoke the laws of thermodynamics, claiming evolution is in violation of them; following from that effort, more recently creationists have invoked information theory in their attempts to deny evolution. This document provides a history and discussion of the creationist thermodynamic and information theory arguments. This document is also available in a downloadable archive, formatted in HTML, for reading on a tablet or other viewer.
